Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is an excellent tool to be used for relaxation, relieving stress and muscle tension, or assisting in rehabilitating an injury. University Recreation massage therapists are allied healthcare professionals licensed by the State of North Carolina.

Benefits of Massage

People are turning to massage therapy to seek relief for medical conditions, to help deal with the stressors of everyday life and to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Research has proven that massage therapy lowers blood pressure, reduces heart rate, increases circulation, relaxes muscles and improves range of motion.
